When Illustration Friday posted that they weren't sending out a topic this week, I went ahead and made up my own. I used the Random Word Generator to give me a topic. The word I got was "Defend". Now, IF has posted a topic which is, of course, not "Defend". But that's cool. Just gives me another ...

I absolutely love your style. I love the idea of the pinwheel for twirl, very clever. I read your blog about having to clean house when it came to design and I couldn’t agree more. I’ve been working for 14 years and have learned that the “job” is not always what you’d hoped for but at least we both have other interests that keep that flame of inspiration alive!! I look forward to more drawings.
