New Print Available in The Shop
This print is FINALLY available in my shop. It’s a typography print featuring an excerpt from Kahlil Gibran’s poem “On Children”.
As I get closer (only a few weeks left!) to becoming a first time parent, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about what it means to raise another human being. I stumbled across this quote somewhere on the interwebs and it really spoke to me. So, I designed it up and am now offering it as an 11×17 print over in my Etsy Shop.

The full text reads:
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow.
